Client
Greenfix Ltd
Project period
May 2007
Project outline
The creation of 5 bank support platforms and habitat ledges in a run-off collection channel on an industrial park in Rainham, Essex using willow spiling.
Services provided
JPR Environmental supplied and installed the materials for 100 linear metres of willow spiling in 5 distinct sections in the channel created to collect the run-off from 2 new industrial units developed at the site.
The walls were 1m high at their tallest and tapered to meet the rising banks at the sides. These were backfilled to create 5 platforms to stabilise the steep banks of the channel and provide a level surface for vegetation to grow on.
