The construction of a new concrete bridge to take the B4176 over the River Stour had created new currents in the river with the potential to erode the newly landscaped raised banks adjacent to the bridge.
Services provided
Supply and installation of 68 x 0.5m willow spiling to control erosion. Spiling was installed on each bank, following the natural course of the bank, as created by the new currents.
